Luke and I celebrate 10 years last Wednesday, the 10th. Honestly, I can't believe that it has been 10 years. It has flown by...
In all honesty, this is probably THE BEST anniversary thus far. After an entire day planned by Luke, we were talking about past anniversaries...and as enjoyable as they were, this one tops them all!
So here was the low-down:
- He surprised me by staying home. (Big deal!)
- He let me sleep in and then brought me breakfast in bed.
- The entire house was clean when I got out of bed.
- He had bought me 10 red roses and a rose bush (to plant) to represent the next 10 years.
- We drove with the kids down to the Botanical Gardens. Amazing. We were able to watch a butterfly release. It was beautiful.
- And except for losing Livi for about 15 minutes (which scared me to death), it was perfect.
- We got lunch and drove home.
- Babysitter came and we left.
- We went to Crocker Park and shopped for school clothes. Then we went over to the Cheesecake Factory. Then to Captain American. Good movie.
