Memorial Day

We LOVE having Grandpa and Grandma B come to visit.  Memorial Day wouldn't be the same without them here!  This year we were busy, busy, busy, but at the same time, we kept things low-key.

We spent some time at the Westside market...eating :)

Polish Sausage and Brats WITH Sauerkraut

Mom and Dad found a Middle Eastern shop and got a yummy wrap.  Unfortunately we didn't' realize all of the sauce was at the bottom...until mom was wearing it!

We stopped off at a Pier on the way home and saw some kites HIGH in the air.  It was impressive!

We went to Kirtland on Sunday and got super late.  Dinner was around 8 or 9 p.m.  Kids were a bit hungry and tired. (But the Southwestern Salad was good!)

video

expecting

We are expecting baby #4 due in October.  I have been feeling a little "under the weather" so to speak.  I remember feeling better after week 16 or so with the last few pregnancies......

Now I know why I haven't been feeling better...it's a GIRL!!  We are so super happy!

We have the sweetest video of Livi opening this present and it just makes you cry every single time we watch it.  I'll be posting it soon.

So excited to complete our family with a little girl.

Camping out

This past weekend, Luke and the boys were supposed to go to a Father/Son camp out.  Luke's allergies had other plans, so they stuck around and slept outside.

To help ease the news that they weren't going to go, Luke came up with idea of going to the movie theater  (the croods).  It worked :)  We were about 30 minutes late, but had the ENTIRE theater to ourselves, so it was worth it.

Livi had been invited to an Indians game, so after we got home from the movies, the boys let me tag along for the fire and roasting marshmallows.  Thanks boys!

Spencer's 7th birthday

HAPPY birthday to my boy!!  We love you so much and are so thankful that you joined our family 7 years ago.  You have been a delight and a great addition to our family.

You love to climb, do crazy dance moves and some gymnastics.  You are our monkey.  You are very sensitive to those around you, but also like to act macho so no one notices :)  You eat your food so funny!  You'll take a Subway sandwich apart and eat the meat and then the cheese and then the bread.  You are just starting to eat red sauce, but it still needs to be separate from the noodles.  You are obsessed with pop and beg us for it all the time, but we are smarter than that and only allow it (sprite, root beer) on special occasions

You are definitely my May day baby and we are so thankful for you:

Since you are 7, we had a few friends out to dinner at Dave and Busters.  It was a bit crazy getting the boys to come on the same day, but we succeeded and had a blast!

Happy Birthday Spencer, WE LOVE YOU!!
