Cabin Time

We love getting away and going to the cabin.  We love our hosts even more.  We played in the lake, went into town to get ice cream and played on the ATV.  We went on a few fun hikes, including Moose Poop Trail.  It was so beautiful!  Thanks for the fun time Kiera and Josh!

Livi's 4-wheeler accident

It is never good when you receive a call from your daughter's friends mom.  I knew before I even picked up the phone that something had happened.  Livi had gone to her friends cabin for the weekend.  When Gillian's mom called me on Saturday morning I apprehensively answered the phone. The girls had been in a 4-wheeler accident and were on the way to the ER. 

When we got there, they looked pretty beat up.  Gillian stayed at the ER and we took Livi to Urgent Care (It ended up taking longer than the ER!!  What?!)  Livi ended up with a few stitches in her hip.  Next time WEAR A HELMET!  We were so lucky this time. 

Spiritual experiences NOT to forget:  Luke had specifically prayed for their safety on Friday night.  On Saturday morning I dropped to my knees and said a prayer (without knowing about Luke's prayer) specifically for the girls' safety.  Within 30-45 minutes we got the call.  The Lord is so mindful of us.  I know bad things still happen, but I'm so thankful that they were spared.
