My sister Tori is about 12 hours from going into the MTC. She has chosen to serve a mission for our Church. The Filipinos won't even know what hit them! We are so proud of you and all of the many, MANY accomplishments. Love you! Can't wait to update your blog!

amazing food

i'm a pretty good cook. not boasting, but i feel like i can cook with the best of them (unprofessionals of course).
the last few weeks i have been venturing out of my comfort zone...you know the original 20-30 recipes that are tried and true in our family. anyway, i made asian bbq chicken last night..and it was divine! wish i would've made lots more.
tonight i am trying a new recipe with a side dish using our leftover rice. hmm, i have taken a few bites already and i am LOVING it...i'll post it soon (if it turns out of course! ;)

Snowy. Sunny. Beautiful

Today was a beautiful, SUNNY day in NE Ohio.  It was wonderful to be outside..and coincidently it was the "first" time that Mac had been outside in the snow.  I'll let the pictures tell you how he felt:

It took forever to get him dressed.  If he lost a glove, I’d put it back on and he’d loose a boot…honestly, it went on for a good 5 minutes.  Whew!  I was tired before I even took him outside!
