Idaho Falls Fun

On Saturday, our niece had a baby shower, so we spent the night and Terry and Iris'.  We always have a good time with them and Saturday night did not disappoint.  Jer and Jenn and kids joined us as well.


We went to New Sweden Corn Maze.  We went on the Hay Ride about 5 times.  After 8 p.m. it was "Haunted" and we just had a great time together.  I especially loved the Olaf Hot Cocoa (Had ice cream in it under the whipped cream, so the whipped cream wouldn't sink.)

We are not really into carving pumpkins.  I posted something on FB a few years back asking if any other parents were like us...I was happy to see that there were quite a few other kindred spirits.

This year we figured the kids could do the majority of their carving and so we brought home 6 pumpkins.  They turned out awesome!

This is similar to the one Livi did.  We spray painted it silver and she drew the eye on it.  Pretty cute.

Hi-GOON

After our Lagoon trip in June, our kids have been dying to go back.  Rosie loves it so much that whenever we drive by it or talk about it, it is "HIGOON!"  I want to go back to HIGOON, I Want HIGOON.  It's adorable.

We planned to go back in the fall, during Frightmares, but our original date fell through (October 6th).  Come to find out that would've been the perfect weather to go..oh well.

Anyway, we chose the 20th and we had a HUGE group come (Cathy & Kenny, Iris & Terry, Codi, Jenny and kids, Jake & Lyndsey and kids, Travis & Liza and kids, Laurie, Whitney, Payton, Boston and our family).  It was such a great time.
