Thanksgiving List

This list was written the day we moved in to our home, but since it’s so close to Thanksgiving I thought I would post our,

THANK GOODNESS WE MOVED INTO THIS  HOUSE list!

1. The most amazing sellers (we can not say enough wonderful things about this couple.  They were truly the perfect sellers!!)
2. Our closing took about 45-50 minutes max.
   1. My mom, who works at a title company, said that it was unheard of to have a closing that fast.  This also included ALL of our questions, walking to the room, small talk, etc.  It was amazing!
3. Our Yard

   2. 5 huge trees for shade (and raking:)
4. It is NOT a bomb shelter.  Enough. said.
5. Basement-craft area, laundry, exercise, play area, etc..  ENOUGH. SAID.
6. Lots of storage throughout the entire home.
7. Green room—big living room
8. Brown room—big family room
9. 3 bedrooms
10. kitchen sink
11. Enough room to have family come and stay.
12. Thanksgiving
13. Garage
14. Shed
15. Mailbox-we don’t have to share one with all of the neighbors and it’s right outside my front door!
16. Shower-no mold or brown/orange residue that comes off the wall—yuck!

22. dining room AND dinette area
23. We can have people over without them getting a disease!  (haha)

25. We live 3 1/2 minutes away from some of our best friends

28. Livi’s school is about a mile down the road
29. park n ride is about 5-6 minutes away
30. 3 golf courses
31. Same ward, same great friends

34. CELL PHONE COVERAGE!!

*of course there are things that need to be updated and changed to fit our lifestyle and family, but honestly…having a place to ourselves after 8+ years is beyond amazing!*

Blessings we’ve seen:

1. Interest rate went down right before signing=less payment per month
2. Sellers=sold us some of their furniture, made ALL of the repairs asked for, PLUS more! (changed the fuse box to a breaker box, etc), left Luke TONS of tools, they kept the home absolutely immaculate and would make repairs right away.
3. Great price
4. Neighborhood
5. FHA loan went through in about 2-2 1/2 weeks (we could’ve closed on the house before the 1st of October!)

Of course this list wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t say how thankful we are for our family.  We love you guys!
