It has been hot.hot.hot this summer!  So hot in fact that we didn’t go to the fireworks.  yes, we are that lame…but honestly, I didn’t want to have to deal with 100* weather.

We knew pretty early in the day that we probably wouldn’t be going, so we had a HUGE water balloon fight.  Love their pose!  

We had 2 buckets for them to throw…ok, ok, Luke and I joined in as well. 

We felt bad about not going, so we had a party that night with a movie and glow sticks:

A few weeks later, we broke out the sparklers:

With the heat, we were lucky to get the kids into swim lessons: 

This is the rock that Mac threw…at Spencer’s head.  Yeah…that wasn’t a very good moment for Mac..or Spencer:

Mac fell asleep on Spencer while watching a movie.  Proof that they love each other.  Pretty adorable!
