The Flood May 12

It was a dark and stormy night.  The wind was howling and the tornado sirens were blaring.  The kids had just gotten in to bed, when we decided that we should get them into the basement.  After a few minutes, we got a text letting us know it was safe to come up.

We went back up, put the kids back down and Luke left to get an extension to our gutters for the front.  While he was gone, I went back down to pick up the laundry I was folding.  The water just started coming from everywhere!!  Livi and I couldn't get everything up in time, so we started moving things around as best we could.  I tried calling luke over and over again...but he had forgotten his phone.

By the time he got home, there was water coming in from everywhere.  Around 9 President Kerr showed up with a pump.
