Summer fun! (June)

What better way to start our summer off, but with a little homemade salsa...and a hail storm?

Rosie sure loves getting her nails painted.

Our ward had weekly park days and the kids LOVED attending:

After moving from Ohio, we were on the hunt for a pulmonologist for Mac.  Denver doesn't really have those.  No, really, they don't.  There is one spot IN Denver that does asthma, but I wanted something a little closer.  I ended up going to an allergist (also specialized in asthma).  All we wanted was to get Mac a inhaler, but they weren't convinced that it was only asthma.  They told us it was our dog, Joey, that was causing his asthma. I was frustrated, since we had already spent 7 years going through this and previous doctors KNEW it was asthma and NOT allergies....but they insisted we do some testing.  Imagine our surprise when Mac was allergic to...nothing.  Nada.  They did several tests and they all came back negative.  Needless to say, they believe me and handed over an inhaler.

Livi being Livi

Nightime fun.

Rosie loved all of her swimming suits..and wore them often.

Potty training didn't quite go as planned, but she still loved wearing underwear, even when they belonged to her brothers:

Denver had some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.  Sometimes the landscape took my breath away and I couldn't help but take a picture.

Nancy never forgets us.   She sent us some yummy, YUMMY jam.  I miss her so much!

I decided to organize summer kickball.  Mac had signed up for it through the district, but they didn't have enough people, so they cancelled it.  I mentioned it to a few women in our ward and it was a HUGE hit.  We had tons of kids come every week to participate.

Kiera and Josh stopped by on their way out to Cali.  They put their home on the market, packed up their home and started a new job fairly quickly.  It was pretty awesome to see them!

The many Rosie faces:

Livi and Spencer participated in baseball and softball.  It was a little stressful getting them to all of their games and practices, but Luke and I had a blast watching them participate.
