We were really itching to go camping, so last weekend we went to scope out a possible site. The next weekend we were camping! It was really fun and Jenny and Brian came for s'mores.
We had our first mishap when Luke forgot the Thule key....he had to drive all the way back home. The kids were getting hungry, so I pulled on my big girl panties and started a fire. I made the kids gather kindling and we toasted hot dogs for dinner. It.was.epic.

Sure love this family of mine. Grateful we were able to try some new adventures together. Next time we will try to find a campsite with more to do.
