Lots to post

I have a ton to post and so very, VERY little time to do it!! We had a fun Christmas party here on the 19th and then another one on the 20th...and we are having a kids' movie night here tonight...so I better sign off and get cleaning.
Just wanted to let you all know we are still alive and home safely from CHICAGO!

Christmas in Chicago

It seems that whenever we go to Chicago there seems like there is some sort of weather issue. Like last year for Christmas or was it Easter? Whenever it was, it wasn’t pretty.

Anyway, we left a day early so that we would miss the snow and although we did hit a little storm, it wasn’t anything compared to what hit us the next day.

We had a blast! Lots of good food (remember last year? YUM!). Lots of good friends. Great memories!

After weeks of whining about her hair and knots, I took the scissors to it. Yeah, that’s right. I did it. I will admit that although she is absolutely adorable..what was I thinking? Her hair was GORGEOUS before…

Christmas Party 2009

Well, with a home, we HAD to throw a Christmas party. I had thought about it for a while, but wasn’t going to do it because of all our sickness.

But once I have something in mind, it’s hard to stop it…and that’s what happened this year. 7 days before the party, I sent out invitations and started rounding up crock pots... I figured that whoever came, came. We had a good time and some yummy food.

Since we had so much food leftover. We invited a bunch of people over the next day to finish it off (this time the kids were invited! :-)
