Christmas was wonderful. I spent hours in the kitchen cooking prime rib (I surprised Luke

Lion House rolls
Asparagus and Hollandaise sauce, red cabbage,
baked carrots,
jeweled potatoes
It was pretty yummy!
Spencer thought it would be funny to put “moose” hands on the prime rib. (what a character!)
After, we opened presents from Grandparents, siblings and great-grandma Oma.
It was nice and somewhat low-key.
The next day, the 25th, was a bit more stressful. As Choir director, I was in charge of most of the Sacrament meeting.
Background:
When I was called in July, I quickly figured out what I wanted to do for Christmas Day music. I got it approved and we were good to go.
The choir started practicing in August and although there were a few slow going songs, it was really coming along. Sometime in November our Bishop called to tell me that the other ward would be joining us and if there was some way to include their choir, could it happen?
At first I wasn’t concerned at all. More voices? Bring it. But as the weeks progressed and I realized we wouldn’t be having many practices with them, I started to get a bit nervous. There were 2 weeks in December I wouldn’t be there at all (cruise) and the next Sunday was Livi’s baptism, so I felt a little stressed.
When all was said and done. It was beautiful. Perfect. I can honestly say that there were angels singing with us, it was that beautiful. Wonderful.
Christmas Morning:
The kids each got a letter from Santa.
Santa brought this amazing, AMAZiNG rocking chair.
So wonderful to spend time with each other!
