Thursday: Early start. Drove through downtown Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge:
We made a stop right before getting to Clingman’s Dome. Family pictures all around:
Then off to hike Clingman’s Dome at the top of the Smokey Mountains. Man, that hike was a bear…bahaha..pun intended!
See that red dot on the top of that hill? That’s SPENCER!
I was a bit nervous, so I made Luke climb up and make sure he was safe!
The views were AMAZING!

We got to the top…and then had to CLIMB to the dome. It wasn’t as difficult, but COME ON PEOPLE!

Holding hands with my boy Spencer. It was so fun to walk down the hill with him… good conversation and laughs.
We then stopped off at Sliding Rock. hilarious to watch everyone go down the rock! I didn’t go. I wasn’t really “feeling” it. I like my water warm and somewhat contained:
