Tackle it Tuesday: Pictures

Like many of you, I have hundreds...literally hundreds of pictures from our wedding.
And lately I have been feeling like I need to get them onto the computer, go digital, in case (heaven forbid) something were to happen.

Remember this Tackle it? Well, after over a year and no printer/scanner/copier we finally got it set up and are on our way to getting all of our pictures on the computer and then to a CD. I am ecstatic!

*I think a later Tackle will be to get our baby pictures on a CD, but first things first!!*

Update: I did get baby pictures on!! Yay..almost all of them too!

Tackle it Tuesday: Death and Taxes

Yep, that's right...my tackle it tuesday was taxes. Since Luke is the Accountant, HE got to do them, but since I am his noble sidekick, I was right there helping every step of the way (poor guy!:)

And...while Luke was at Scouts tonight...the kids (sick as they are :( and I made sugar cookies. They were yummy! Normally I am not one to do sugar cookies...I prefer good ole chocolate chip cookies, easy to make, don't really need any help making them, and you don't have to frost them. BUT, I decided that the kids needed something to do. So after about an hour of Dora (I was taking a nap-hehe!) We cut them out, baked them, and frosted 7. Yep, out of 20+ cookies (they are pretty small), we only frosted enough for them to have a taste, stick some sprinkles on...and then I sent them to bed. It is currently blissfully quiet in my home and I love it!

V-Day weekend

Remember those great friends from this post? Well, they were at it again. Last Sunday they gave us tickets to the Home and Flower Show at the IX Center. They knew that Amy wouldn't last very long with her pregnancy..and they were right!! (Amy had her baby on the 12th!)

We were there about 2 1/2 hours and it was beautiful! Since we are MAJOR garden, home, outdoor living lovers...we were in heaven! (It doesn't hurt that Luke was a Landscape design major for a semester or two!) It was so amazing to see how they were able to get everything set up inside this HUGE (188 acres) convention center.

We had a really wonderful time and even though I am feeling the effects today...it was well worth it!

Thanks Greg and Amy!
