Gas Prices

Holy cow! I can't believe how much the gas prices have gone down over the last few weeks. I thought it was noteworthy to tell the world how much I paid to fill up my SUV this past week. There was a 1/4 of a tank and I filled it up for $13.48! Wowzer!

Alright, here is the reason why:

$1.79 gal, BUT since we shop at Giant Eagle and they participate in fuelperks, we get $$ off PER GALLON when we shop there. SO, we got a $1 off EACH gallon.....$.79/gal! Seriously, it has been a great week!

Update: I guess I should clarify. We do get $ 0.10 off per $10 we spend (0r something like that) BUT we let it build up and that's how we got $1 off per gallon.

Wow! That's incredible. When we bought our van last July it took $65.00 to fill the tank. Now it takes $30.00. I sure do hope prices stay down. I don't want gas to eat three hundred dollars out of our budget again. Can't beat thirteen dollars though. That's great.

That is awesome! OK, Ben and I were shocked when we read your movie list. The Dark Knight didn't get two stars?? Ben is so excited to buy that. I will have to admit that I had a horrible nightmare about the joker the other night. He was a little too good at that role. Still though, we loved that movie. Then we were surprised to see Alvin and the Chipmunks having two stars. we rented that and the girls loved it but we were excited when we had to take it back. I love your background.

I just wrote out a long comment and it didn't work! Here it is again...Way to go on the gas! That is awesome. I love your blog back ground and went to the site at the bottom of your blog but I don't understand what to do. It sounds complicated.

Holy cow! That's amazing! Gas is around &2.20 here. It is nice to have it go down, but I dread the day when it goes back up. I guess we should just enjoy it while it lasts! I wish we had your store around here that gives $1 off! Our grocery store does that, but we only get 10 cents off/gallon. Bummer!

LOVE Giant Eagle! We just noticed that we have $1.30 off our next tank. That is going to give us the cheapest gallon of gas we've ever bought. Can't wait!

Yeah the prices have dropped here too, to bad it's because of the awful economy (which we hope gets better, however, when it does, I believe the gas prices will NOT stay low.) So get it for $13 while you can!

Wow what a great deal. We get gas at Fred Meyer and get 15 cents of a gallon each time. I thought that was a good deal, but $1 off! WOW!
