Update: less than 100

Wow, less than 100 days until baby #3 makes his/her appearance! I say "his/her" for my mom because she doesn't want to know the gender and I am happy to oblige (this time around! :)

Anyway, I have been feeling a bit "different" or "off" lately. I guess I can chalk it up to being pregnant, right?

-I started having contractions a few weeks ago (23+ weeks pregnant). You know, the kind that come around from the back?* And although they weren't incredibly painful, just sort of "different", Linda** said that she was a bit concerned about it because she wouldn't classify them as Braxton Hicks. If I had more than 4 in an hour, I needed to get ahold of someone in the practice ASAP.

-I am still measuring 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. For those of you that remember me with Spencer (or even Livi for that matter), I used to measure ahead. But with Spencer, at 27 weeks, I was measuring 6 weeks ahead!! That is not necessarily normal, especially since they did an ultrasound too and his bones/head/etc were also measuring 6 weeks ahead. (That's when they decided to induce)

-Linda decided that since I am measuring ahead, along with everything else (having big babies, fainting and near fainting episodes, baby #3), they would like to see me a week earlier than normal. She ordered another ultrasound (#4 for this pregnancy!) and we'll go over the glucose test (yuck).

-Besides all of that? I can barely roll over in bed, I ache EVERYWHERE and after walking/shopping/etc all day on Tuesday, I came home and my ankles were a tiny bit swollen (I remember that happening WAY later in my last pregnancies..)

Oh, the joys of baby #3!

*I had PAINFUL, PAINFUL back labor with Livi..she was posterior and it made labor SO MUCH HARDER!
**Linda is the RN, but so much more. She practically runs the practice..and she was the one who got me through the first trimester of Torticollis, Morning sickness, Flu, etc, she was amazing!

Tackle it Tuesday: Pictures

Like many of you, I have hundreds...literally hundreds of pictures from our wedding.
And lately I have been feeling like I need to get them onto the computer, go digital, in case (heaven forbid) something were to happen.

Remember this Tackle it? Well, after over a year and no printer/scanner/copier we finally got it set up and are on our way to getting all of our pictures on the computer and then to a CD. I am ecstatic!

*I think a later Tackle will be to get our baby pictures on a CD, but first things first!!*

Update: I did get baby pictures on!! Yay..almost all of them too!

Tackle it Tuesday: Death and Taxes

Yep, that's right...my tackle it tuesday was taxes. Since Luke is the Accountant, HE got to do them, but since I am his noble sidekick, I was right there helping every step of the way (poor guy!:)

And...while Luke was at Scouts tonight...the kids (sick as they are :( and I made sugar cookies. They were yummy! Normally I am not one to do sugar cookies...I prefer good ole chocolate chip cookies, easy to make, don't really need any help making them, and you don't have to frost them. BUT, I decided that the kids needed something to do. So after about an hour of Dora (I was taking a nap-hehe!) We cut them out, baked them, and frosted 7. Yep, out of 20+ cookies (they are pretty small), we only frosted enough for them to have a taste, stick some sprinkles on...and then I sent them to bed. It is currently blissfully quiet in my home and I love it!

V-Day weekend

Remember those great friends from this post? Well, they were at it again. Last Sunday they gave us tickets to the Home and Flower Show at the IX Center. They knew that Amy wouldn't last very long with her pregnancy..and they were right!! (Amy had her baby on the 12th!)

We were there about 2 1/2 hours and it was beautiful! Since we are MAJOR garden, home, outdoor living lovers...we were in heaven! (It doesn't hurt that Luke was a Landscape design major for a semester or two!) It was so amazing to see how they were able to get everything set up inside this HUGE (188 acres) convention center.

We had a really wonderful time and even though I am feeling the effects today...it was well worth it!

Thanks Greg and Amy!

Tackle it Tuesday:Computer area

It's Tuesday already?! For those of you that enjoyed that little Livi clip, there are more fun things to come...like Luke dancing! It's awesome!

Anyway, Tackle it tuesday was a good one this week because our computer area has been a sight for SORE eyes!! We were using an antique washing table (thank you Nana) and there just wasn't enough room for everything...

and thanks to our good friends, the Lassens, we now have a table big enough to fit all of our computer related items!

Snowy days

We've had just a little bit of snow this winter...and it is starting to bug...
Anyway, here are a few pictures/video of our winter fun. Who says that an apartment isn't fun for kids in the winter? (ha!)

what REALLY happens at scouts!

Luke is the Scoutmaster in our ward and is really enjoying getting to know the boys and helping them become Eagle Scouts.
Anyway, a few months ago the Scouts had a popcorn fundraiser. Lisa, our bishop's wife, told the boys that if they filled out an entire fundraiser sheet that they could throw a pie at the Scoutmaster...Hehe, Luke had no idea she was going to say this, but true to her his word, he got “pied” twice.

Tackle it Tuesday: Bins and Bins of Baby Clothes

My tackle it Tuesdays are going to be accomplished on the weekends and then blogged about on Tuesday (because I can't lift/move everything I want to without Luke's help)

Case in point:

I decided that I needed to go through some (only 5 more to go through!!) of the kids clothes before I got too big and too tired to do it later. And for all you pessimists out there, Yes, I still have 4 months left, but please don't rub that in (I HAVE gotten through almost 6 months..so give me some credit! :) I didn't realize how many baby clothes can fit into a bin...and I forgot how adorable their clothes can be (especially little girls' clothes!)

Also, one of the bins I went through had yellow stains on most of the clothes..Anyone have any idea what it is from?! I've tried almost everything, including bleach and it WILL NOT COME OUT! (It isn't spit up or from a poopy diaper)
