MRI

I had an MRI scheduled for March 12, 2010.  I needed to fast beforehand to get ready.  I didn't think it would be a big deal, since I have had an MRI/CAT scan when I was 16...but let me just say:  things have changed.

I was in the tube for an extremely long time, extremely long and I started to get claustrophobic, big time.  I was so scared that I started singing hymns and songs from the children's songbook.  The techs told me that I was moving too much (?).  So with the long beep/whirling noise I decided to try and sleep, but everytime I got into a good groove, I would twitch..and they would 'yell' at me.  It made for a very long exam.

I will say this though, it was a nice, relaxing time (yeah, right!) away from the kids.

The results? Inconclusive/nothing wrong with my shoulder.  We know THAT isn't right, so more physical therapy and chiropractor visits for me.

Update:  P.T. wasn't doing anything for me, so the orthopaedic surgeon told me to stop.  He said that it could actually hinder me, more than help me, since they didn't know what was going on AND I was in so much pain.
