Saturday: We started the day off with soccer. Who knew that it would be sunny in Ohio? Needless to say, Grandma and Grandpa got BURNT!
Then we went to a surprise party for our friend Aaron. To say he was surprised would be an understatement. It was AWESOME! The kids had a great time at the park and the adults were able to relax and have some much needed down time.
Sunday: we laid low.

Monday: The parade. One of the main reasons G&G came to visit.

We had a few kiddy pools set up, sand, swing set…

Great food (pulled pork sandwiches, hot dots, brats, polish sausage, black bean salsa, beans, sauerkraut, potato salad…..and the cake:
That cake was something else! We wanted to have diagonal cake on the inside...and we got it!
The next day we went to ba sweeties. I think my mom left happy!

It was a great party. I do have to say, the cake was amazing - not only delicious, but very creative.
