Hancock

I know, I know...I keep talking/blogging about movies and the like and this is a family blog...but movies are a BIG part of our lives. (WOW, we sound like we have nothing better to do!)

Anyway, Luke and I had a date night on Saturday (thanks to some fabulous friends) and we went and saw HANCOCK. It wasn't my first choice for the night (Indiana Jones was), but it turned out ok, I think, hmm, I am not sure what to think of it. Really.

It was one of those twisty, HILARIOUS, not so hilarious, sometimes crude, good feel ending type of movies. (Whoa..that is really confusing.) If you can handle a little "Adam Sandler-esque" humor for the first part of the movie and stay through the end, then you are good to go. (And no, Adam Sandler is NOT in the movie, just his sense of humor)

I pretty much guessed how it was going to end...but it did keep us entertained the whole time and WE LAUGHED and LAUGHED and LAUGHED. Will Smith is pretty stinkin' funny, even if he was drunk most of the time.

DEFINITELY NOT a kid's movie, wouldn't even let my kids near it with a 10-20-30 foot pole, but we had a good laugh and a few cringes along the way.

I was a little hesitant to see that one. Why? I don't know. Usually there is no movie that will Smith is in that is horrible. Well, I take that back....MEN IN BLACK...blah!
We will have to go see it. We are going to go see The Dark Knight on Saturday and i am overjoyed for that one!
