The joys of motherhood...

I'm not complaining. BUT potty training is sometimes hard. I have read a bunch of books and I guess I could wait another year (and this MIGHT end up happening) and if this doesn't work out, at least he is getting USED to the idea of toilet training. All-in-all, Spencer is a bit younger than Livi was when I potty trained her...almost 4 1/2 months younger. Maybe I am getting in over my head, but this summer is ALL about milestones. Besides potty training, Livi is learning to read & Luke n I are trying to lose weight/get fit. It's all about the journey, right?!

Finding ways to keep him on the potty...books, songs, food (yes, a little gross, but work with me here!), and coloring...

I think babies are adorable in diapers, but I also LOVE toddlers in underwear!

I'm sooo not ready to cross this bridge yet, and I'm pretty sure Chase feels the same way! Good luck!

I have to say that I waited until a month before Noah's 3rd birthday to potty train him. Then it only took 1 week. No fighting or anything. All I needed was a sticker chart and Mc Donalds hot fudge sundaes as a reward. I usually try around 2 1/2 for a day or two, if they are not interest then we go back to diapers and try a few months later. That's why Josh is not potty trained yet. I really believe that if they are not ready it's more stress than anything. Good Luck! I hope you find something that works. I saw on the side that you are going private.
