Family Reunion- Sunday

On Sunday, the 17th, we drove up to Wisconsin (3 1/2 hours from my parent's house) and boy is life good!!
We had originally planned the whole week out with a girl's day (massage, shopping etc), Wisconsin Dells, and a men's golf day, but after having all the luxuries of a lake house, what more do you need??!!?
Sunday:
We drove up and got all the instructions from Nathan and Jill (the homeowners--how nice is it to have friend's that own a lake house?!?) The house didn't look very big from the pictures (or even the outside), but let's just say, "pictures can be deceiving!! There were 5 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 double, 3 twins, and 2 bunk beds (double on bottom, twin size on top), 3 bathrooms and the kitchen and back of the house had to be completely renovated when a pipe burst in Jan/Feb. '08! We were living the "high" life.
Pictures: back of the house and kitchen/dining combo
lft: living room rt: sitting room/living room
lft: back of house sitting rooms (on one half was the wicker furniture and directly across were these other chairs) The couches and 2 last chairs all converted into beds!

Back yard with hammock, swingset off to the left, firepit.

They were also kind enough to leave the following accomodations: 1 pontoon boat, 2 jet skis, wake board, water skis, 2 HUGE plasma t.v's, hammock and several tube/rafts! Thanks!

We ate brisket for dinner compliments of Mom and then had a devotional and s'mores around the campfire.

Needless to say, after the first 1/2 hour here, we were ALL looking for a lake house to buy! :)

I have never been to a lakehouse, but boy does that look like so much fun. It looks so relaxing, and I'm sure the kids had a great time in the water.

Holy cow! That looks really nice! I'm glad you had fun!
Thanks for the sympathy about the hobo...we've only seen once since then & we have some heavy duty spray to use tomorrow. I'm pretty lucky to have such a good husband! :)
