Fall

So, I am not going to lie when I say that I LOVE FALL!! But this year, this love has been tainted by the ever fast approaching doom day: leaves falling off the trees. Yes, I love the changing leaves and all the BEAUTIFUL colors, but get a little sad when they actually fall off the tree.

We got back a week ago and noticed that some trees had already changed leaves and the TREES were BARE! What the heck?! I realize that the climate is different in Kansas City, but that is one of the many reasons we LOVED it down there....Fall lasted a very long time! In Idaho, Fall started quite early and it was snowy around Halloween. Kansas? Well Kansas was one of those good memories. Last year Halloween was pretty warm and then the sun went down and we wore hoodies. I'm thinking that Ohio has some cold weather in store for Halloween...sad :(

Not true, not true--last Halloween it was almost too warm to wear the costumes the kids had. We didn't get ANY snow (not a sign of it!) until Thanksgiving. The fall does last a while here...and I love every second! It is STUNNING!

P.S. Where've ya been?? Did I offend you or something? I have not heard from you FOREVER! You still up for getting together some time?

Well, I will have to admit that I will miss going Trick-or-Treating with ya'll. What a fond memory! And I will definetly miss our walks in the fall in the nice crisp weather! We miss you so. I hope it doesn't snow for you before Halloween. We'll be thinking of you. I know Halloween is still far, but it was always a fun thing.
Also, I'm sooooooo anxious to see pictures of Livi on her first day of school. What did you end up doing? Were you able to get her into Kindergarten? How's it going? Post pictures of her first day already! Come on! =)

It's finally cooling off this weekend in Rexburg. It rained for the first time in a long time...no orange yet, though. :)

You give me hope of Kansas being a nice place to live! Matt is there today negotiating. If they don't help us move there and help with selling our duplex we will probably stay put with the way the market is. So you really liked Overland Park? Did you rent or own a home? We're thinking about moving to OP as well.

I'm jealous! At least you get a fall. We go straight from Summer to what I guess could be a winter, but we miss out on all the pretty changing of the colors and everything. So sad, I wish we got fall!!

Mmmmm, I LOVE fall -- it is way too short (or skipped over entirely), but it's fabulous. Pumpkin cookies, anyone?? :)

I also LOVE the fall. Last year in CT it was AWSOME! We also just wore hoodies. Yeah! Now we are back in Idaho and it's what....in the 60's? are you kidding me? I know how you feel. Good luck to nice Ohio fall;)
