Remember those great friends from this post? Well, they were at it again. Last Sunday they gave us tickets to the Home and Flower Show at the IX Center. They knew that Amy wouldn't last very long with her pregnancy..and they were right!! (Amy had her baby on the 12th!)
We were there about 2 1/2 hours and it was beautiful! Since we are MAJOR garden, home, outdoor living lovers...we were in heaven! (It doesn't hurt that Luke was a Landscape design major for a semester or two!) It was so amazing to see how they were able to get everything set up inside this HUGE (188 acres) convention center.
We had a really wonderful time and even though I am feeling the effects today...it was well worth it!
Thanks Greg and Amy!

That is awesome! we went there last year and loved it!! Great ideas everywhere!
You have maryann's blog? Which one is it? Joker is creepy but also so funny. Ben downloaded it onto our computer and the girls know how to get to it so I constantly have to watch them so they don't see it. Batman is definitely too creepy for my kids even though they think joker is funny.
That is so funny! I went to a home and garden show with the family while I was pregnant with Jared up in Chicago. Matt got free tickets because the company he works for made all the pavers in the show and put up all the retaining walls for the flowers and the cool outdoor fireplace/oven things. Isn't it AMAZING how they fit all that inside? They had trees and tulips and it was beautiful! Walking around and being really pregnant isn't that fun, though, but the flowers made up for it!
OOOOOH! Jealous! I soooo wanted to go there!! Glad you got to go and have a great time!
That is so amazing! I bet it was so refreshing after so much snow!
