This, This and That

The past couple of months have been a little interesting in our household as we try to pen/pencil/crayon-proof the house from Spencer. He loves drawing, but even more so, he loves drawing on the walls, on blankets, on dressers, on stuffed animals, on himself/me/Livi/Luke. The above products have been used routinely around here.

So, while we try to limit his "artistic" abilities on the house, we don't mind him doing them outside of the house, mainly on our patio wall using sidewalk chalk. Now, with all of this in mind, it is EXTREMELY ironic that I told him today to, "Stop drawing on yourself and draw on the patio wall." Whoa, talk about a confused boy! He looked at me like, are you serious? You are giving me permission to draw on the wall? Oh well, what to do, what to do? How do you explain to a 2 year old that they are allowed to draw on the wall, but they aren't allowed to draw on the wall?

Have you tried the Crayola color wonder products?
Of course if he likes to draw everywhere those might not be that helpful, except for they will only color on the paper that it comes with, so no more clean up for you and if he wants to see his masterpieces he has to color on paper.
I just picked up some washable crayons too-which I had no idea exsisted. Good Luck!
