lately i have been wondering when the dreaded time would come. the gray hair. yes, ladies and gentlemen, i found some hair that didn't belong on my head. it didn't come as a shock really, since i have been wondering when and if i had any gray hair. (life has been stressful the past year!)
anyway, on saturday i had some time between luke's softball games to look and see if i could find some. i looked TOO hard in my opinion and found 2 silver hair. it wasn't gray, it was shimmery and beautiful. silver.
i can handle it. silver is the new brown, right? at least it is shiny and pretty....right? *nod your head in agreeance please!*
well, on sunday night i thought, "if i've found 2...maybe i'll find more." and i did. 2 more.
moral of the story? don't be so vain. STOP looking in the mirror!
note: if i come to Church or step out in public looking less than par, just know that it is because i no longer look in mirrors.

My white wings are getting more and more noticable. I think the amount of white hair has doubled every year since my early twenties. If you just started finding silver hair, you probably have awhile before you don't have to search for them.
yeah that's not fun, I've had grey hairs for about 4 years now, and not just 2, LOTS of them. I dye them away, but they just keep coming back!
Ah, yes, I am also in denial of my new "platinum blonde" strands. They are creeping in!
OH, you're too funny! If it makes you feel any better, I have them too. In fact,I think I have more than you! Sad. Well, good advice. I try not to look too hard.
Let that be a lesson to all of us! lol No more looking in mirrors. I think the silver hairs are beautiful, by the way. I found one in Trapper's hair awhile back. I'm sure I have a couple, but my hair's too light to even notice.
I've had gray hair for years now. And they are multiplying pretty quickly. I'm just waiting for Ben to finish school and then I'm off to get my hair colored.

Secondly, I'm sorry I didn't respond to your "gray hair" text. Haha. I was in the car driving to my parents house and didn't want to wreck. I'm trying to stay true to my pledge to Oprah. So when I finally got to my parents house, I forgot about the text (please forgive me). Then I got on your blog and saw this!!! You are too funny!
